Requirements
Our client initially planned the project as an office for a nearby accommodation facility located along the coast of Uruma City, Okinawa. Following a visit to our showroom, the requirements evolved to include a higher level of design quality suitable for guest accommodation, a short construction timeline, and flexibility to respond to potential future needs such as relocation or expansion. The facility was also expected to maximise the site’s seaside location and deliver a premium, private guest experience.
Solution
Sankyo Frontier’s Mobile Space was adopted to meet these needs. Impressed by the product’s design and overall quality, our client decided to change the plan from an office to a fully‑fledged accommodation facility. Mobile Space’s refined exterior design and short construction lead time enabled the project to progress smoothly from planning through to completion. Its flexible system, allowing for future relocation or expansion, was a key factor in the final decision.
The interior and exterior furnishings were curated by LAPIN Co., Ltd. of Chatan Town, Okinawa, resulting in a sophisticated and comfortable space that blends seamlessly with the surrounding coastal landscape. Operated as a private villa limited to one group per day, the facility offers uninterrupted ocean views and provides guests with a luxurious and memorable stay in Okinawa’s natural setting.
