Requirements
The client wanted to create a comfortable and conducive environment for children to practice karate. One of the primary goals was also to set up a studio that can adapt to changing needs in the future, with the possibility of adding a second story if the number of students increases.
Solution
We designed a bright room that lets in plenty of natural light. The interior does not have pillars to maximize the space. This allowed for flexibility of layouts and reduced obstruction to movements during karate practice. High ceilings were incorporated to enhance the overall openness of the area and to enable practicing with karate equipment. The building size is also scalable where the owner has the option of adding a second floor using Mobile Space units in the future.
